* start making deadman anchor by collecting materials&lt;br /&gt;
** take one wooden stake&lt;br /&gt;
** one rectangle of fencing&lt;br /&gt;
** one length of paracord&lt;br /&gt;
* string paracord through the middle hole of wooden anchor and also the fencing.&lt;br /&gt;
* tie a knot.. could do a larkshead here&lt;br /&gt;
* put a chain through one of the four perimeter holes on stop sign.  &lt;br /&gt;
* run the paracord through the chain and tie a trucker's hitch or similar to keep stop sign taut.&lt;br /&gt;
* survey in stop sign using GPS&lt;br /&gt;

* when visiting the site on foot, bring the hammer drill.&lt;br /&gt;
* excavate a hole down to the ground surface.&lt;br /&gt;

* string paracord through the middle hole of wooden anchor and also the fencing.&lt;br /&gt;
* tie a knot.. could do a larkshead here&lt;br /&gt;
* put a chain through one of the four perimeter holes on stop sign.  &lt;br /&gt;
* run the paracord through the chain and tie a trucker's hitch or similar to keep stop sign taut.&lt;br /&gt;
