New page

Before going:
# look over data for anything needing attention (like from animal damage potentially)
# make a list of things to do at the station
# bring tools, hose clamp or two, cable ties

On approach to a station:
# asses for animal damage

At station:
# download data
# look at numeric input locations on site to see that things make sense
# pound in with hand maul the guy wire deals if loose (easier later summer than spring)
# address animal damage / known before hand sensor repair work
# check that omni-directional antenna hasn't vibrated loose (it happens especially at K1/K2)
# level the radiometer tower at each summer visit (and then the up looking radiometers)
# set Flag 1 high if a radio is present upon leaving (except in fall)
# last off: double-check that the data logger is connected to the radio (blue or sometimes gray cable)
# take a picture or two in the final state (more good practice than anything else)
# replace dessicant in radiometers at least annually
