* pour packet of salt into one of the known volumes&lt;br /&gt;

* extract 10 mL from well mixed salt slug and squirt into one of the two remaining 1 liter volumes&lt;br /&gt;
* secure conductivity meter at downstream location and start logging&lt;br /&gt;
** observe background levels&lt;br /&gt;
* pour salt slug in at upper reach location&lt;br /&gt;

* in 2 to 5 mL increments add Secondary Solution water to mixing bucket and measure eC &amp;amp; Temperature after mixing&lt;br /&gt;
* record in fielbook: mL added, eC &amp;amp; temperature in the mixing tank.&lt;br /&gt;
