To Do:

  • calculate / measure coverage of lens @ 18mm at varying heights.
    • compute 90% overlap
  • Set up RTK GPS system at the thermo-erosion site.
  • While one person places the marker plates the other will survey them using the RTK gps system
    • I am not sure how long this will take, I'm budgeting for two days. I have the GPS set up to position average for 20 seconds per point. So, there is a finite number of points we can do per day and I don't know how many points we'll end up taking until we get out there.
  • After the plates are surveyed in (or while one of us is surveying, can play that by ear), we'll also conduct a photo survey using a camera mounted at about 5 meters above the ground surface.
  • Time Depending: Maybe also swing by the North Facing High Site to check on the battery.
  • Shooting for 90% coverage on the photos.
