As to the Barrow trip:
- Need gear for Sina
- Need to find out how much cable protection is in storage... ask bryan
- radio for logger
Contents
Done list
DONE * reservations for Barrow lodging DONE * send program snippet to Sina for soil moisture probes DONE * reservations for air travel
- we will fly in on the evening of the 11th
To do items it'd be nice if Bryan could look into once in Barrow:
- identify conduit supply in storage
Rough Schdeule:
- fly up the 11th, arrive in the evening
- morning of the 12th, one person puts the base together at NARL
- in barrow grab a piece of trail mat to put under the tower
- two people head out to BEO to site tower and shovel snow
- use gps to site tower and guy points (so as to miss frozen LCP etc)
- third person brings tower and anchor to cake eater pull off
- afternoon of the 12th: tower is raised
- once we see how easy it is to lift we'll know how many people it takes to lift and drop
To Do:
- Purchase request for freight
- load high res imagery onto GPS so we can hit our points in the field
- Put together program for Sina
=To Bring on plane:
- Tools
- Trimble
Supplies to Ship NAC:
- tower sections
- anchor sections
- screed stakes
- survey tripod
- survey rod
- gin pole
- radiation cross arm
- camera cross arm
- Sledge Hammer
Supplies to ship either NAC or AK Air
- Instrument Box
- Duct Seal for instrument box
- rope for gin pole
- instrument box for data logger (sounds like small is fine)
- camera cross arm
- IR camera cross arm
In office / storage yet:
- extension cord for power from tram
- extension cord for power to strobe
- soil moisture probes
- switch 12 volt deal for soil moisture probes
- lg actionpacker or two
Tools:
- 2 pcs 3/4 inch wrench (for unistrut bolts)
- level
- tape measure
- 1/2" wrench (for ubolts)
- 7/16* wrench (for ubolts)
- a full set of nut drivers
- electrical tape
- 8pcs wire nuts
Strobe Wiring:
- Red = +12V
- Black = G
- Green = G
