August 24 Fairbanks to Nome and Logisitcs
- Fly to Nome
- Needs 1 truck and a hotel room at the Aurora.
- Prep for Saturday helicopter stuff.
- Add new radio # to the base station.

August 25 Kigluaiks Repeater visit
- Visit Bering Air to iron out helicopter details (7:30am).
- Drive to Kigluaiks parking spot and await air lift.
- Helicopter to service the high elevation repeater stations & install new repeater at Kigluaiks.
- New repeater:
- Bring: 3m tower
- bolts to connect 3 legs to base, instrument box to tower, unistrut to instrument box.
- pipe wrench to tighten base vertical pipe
- antenna, mounting bracket, radio cable
- solar panel & extension cord for powering
- 2 batteries & battery box, Red & black battery jumper cables, fuse & holder
- instrument box, radio, data logger, charge controller, plumbers putty
- toolbag
- Bear spray in waterproof bag
- Take pictures & GPS coords of new site
- Bring: 3m tower
- Old Kigluaiks repeater:
- Check frequency key on radio (should be 5)
- Replace HMP45C here
- After repeater is installed:
- Return to Nome.
- Things to pick up from Nome storage:

August 26 Council Area
- head to Council area with canoe
- C1 Grid
- pull net radiometer
- Check frequency key on radio (should be 5)
- install thermistor string
- bring liquid-tite for animal protection
- bring Hilti and generator to dig the hole
- snip vegetation below snow sensor
- Try to fix precip bucket so it's vertical. (still missed rain this summer)
- C2 Blueberry
- Check frequency key on radio (should be 5)
- take up another battery
- pull all radiometers (net, short and long)
- snip vegetation below snow sensor
- install new thermistor string, dig hole
- bring liquid-tite for animal protection.
- Programming:
- change program so snow depth and distance are being saved (now it's distance x 2)
- Another program thing: precip here is flatlined at 12 for some weird reason (in output data).
- Skookum Pass
- Cover black tape with white tape on AT/RH sensor
- Check frequency key on radio (should be 5)
- Back in Nome
- Get gas for ATV
- Drop off canoe
- change out transducer in SR50A from C1 grid (for use at K1)

August 27 Kougarok area
- K1 Burn:
- SR50A transducer needs replacing
- Better secure the transducer at K1, too
- Bring out Rebar and hose clamps to secure cross arm to the legs maybe
- First 2 Soil moistures may still work here, got a couple legit looking readings earlier this summer. Rest are still garbage. so maybe check them out.
