TopoFlow

Similar to the RiverTools page this should have misc. tips for getting TopoFlow running.

To run Topoflow you'll need from RiverTools:

• *.rti file from your DEM
• *flow.rtg flow grid
• *order.rtg Horton Strahler order grid
• *area.rtg upstream areas grid
• *slope.rtg downstream slopes grid

Then, with TopoFlow you'll need to create from the Preprocessing menu:

• Channel Geometry Grids. Select Parameterize with H-S order grid and then set the Manning's N for the channels, the bed widths and the bank angle.

Also from RiverTools, use the Value Zoom to find the basin outlet row & column.
