Tape Color is Green

todo at site

  • change program
    • update CNR4 constants
    • update snow sensor heights

In NGEE Container:

  • Tripod base with green tape. This is in NGEE Container
    • Requires 1.25" schedule 40 pipe mast
  • survey rod
  • car safety kit

In UAF Storage

  • 1" x 3' aluminum pipe, three pieces
  • 2 pipe wrenches
  • large cable ties
  • small cable ties
  • fish tape
  • 4 dog anchors
  • saw
  • grease
  • anti oxidizing grease for electrical connections
  • a bunch of hose clamps (including for precip bucket
  • Bosch drill
  • GIPL drill bit

Sensors in UAF storage

  • Tipping bucket
  • GIPL VATP

To Buy in Nome

  • At Grizzly Hardware pick up a 1.25" schedule 40 pipe threaded on two sides

To buy in Fairbanks

  • 1" topper for tripod
  • 1" to 1.25" coupler to replace one used at teller top site

Cross arm situation

  • Use short 1" Aluminum pipe for precip stand at site. Have three of these in the UAF Nome storage as well as the brackets required.
  • the hose clamps for the site are in Nome along with some other items.
  • Bob found 4 pcs 1" cross arms on 5/30 trip. There were also some 3/4" aluminum cross arms, perhaps for precip stand.
  • 1 full altershield in Nome storage but... has flange plates on bottom so we'll need to do a bit more work to get things proper.

To ship from Fairbanks

  • 2 pcs 12V batteries

Hydra Probe notes

  • ID 0 = 5cm = red
  • ID 1 = 10cm = orange
  • ID 2 = 20cm = purple
  • ID 3 = 30cm = brown
  • ID 4 = 40cm = black

SRS notes

  • PRI up = red tape = 7 SDI address
  • PRI #1 = orange = 8 SDI address
  • PRI #2 = purple = 9 SDI address
  • NDVI up = red tape = A SDI address
  • NDVI #1 = orange = B SDI address
  • NDVI #2 = purple = C SDI address

Measure resistor value and SN beforehand?

infrastructure

  • tower
    • tripod - in storage
    • mast- called Grizzly 907 443 2108 to see if we can reserve one
    • alter shield for tipping bucket?
  • power
    • solar panel
    • wires for panel
    • charge controller
    • crips/connectors for charge controller wires
    • 2 big batteries
    • connector wires for batteries
    • wire to logger
    • fuse
  • Enclosure
    • mount for enclosure
    • logger
    • mux
    • wires between mux and logger
    • cable
    • printed program
    • screw driver
    • CFM100+card
    • grounding wire

Actionpacker in uaf storage

  • Cable Ties
  • 2 pipe wrenches
  • hose clmaps
  • three camping dinners (seafood deals)
  • a bit more snacks
  • fish tape
  • soil samplers for teller bottom
