Tips
Add GINA Best Data Layer
- Start new project
- Right click on "Layers"
- Click "Add Data..."
- Find the WMS layer that you want to add here:
- http://www.alaskamapped.org/data/wms-wfs-wcs-web-service-feeds
- For example: Best Data Layer: http://wms.alaskamapped.org/bdl?
- Follow these instructions to add this to your map:
Output a GEOPDF in ArcGIS
- With all the layers you wish to see visible, zoom in on your area of interest.
- In the lower left corner of the window there are two buttons:
- Data View
- Layout View
- Click Layout View to see the coverage area.
- If it is too zomed out, there is a scale bar 1:500,000 select a scale that nicely covers your area of interest on the Layout View.
- Once all of that is set, print the map. To print:
- File Menu -> Export Map...
- Select output resolution and safe as type PDF
