On site todo:

  • Software updates?
  • wifi check
  • seal with tape extension cord on the tower
  • use loggernet remote to add diagnostics logger to schedule
  • setup pub/priv keys with another iarc computer
  • load temperature monitoring python program onto the toughbook and update the cron
  • get rsync set up on the cron to push all data rather than a lot of scping of files.
  • download data off the soil moisture logger (now to be repurposed)
  • set up instrument box
    • figure out which two cables are the hot wires (not neutral)
    • clamp sensors around the two hots
    • screw instrument box to shed
    • run data cable and power (x2) from instrument box to the inside of the shed

  • Instrument box with Ohio Semitronics hardware
  • tool bags & voltmeter
  • wood screws to secure instrument box to shed
  • heater?
  • field book
  • electrical tape and seal
  • duct seal
