  • Bring measured volume for salt slug measurement at Teller SW (the water jug for precip bucket calibration)
    • get correct amount of water in this then pour into the 1L volume.
    • need to do extra step of solving for in-situ variable.
  • Measure Discharge in creek with both wading rod & salt slug

Teller Bottom

  • tap & die the net radiometer
    • also bring a drill
  • step stool for site
  • replace radiometer desiccant
  • replace tipping bucket again and better secure new one
  • drill

Teller Top

  • change radiometer desiccant
  • ubolts or hose clamps for precip stand leveling
    • also might think on getting the bucket vertical pipe a bit higher off the ground... maybe a longer pipe?

Tuesday

  • Survey Stop Signs

Teller CAS

  • bring out guy wires
  • guy wire cutter
  • correct amount of thimbles
  • guy wire anchors (all for the geonor)
  • look at program and think about using switched 12V for AT/RH... we will see in March trip if they should be turned off.
  • think about mounting a small SP on the tripod and running charging cables to battery box
  • think on a better way to do the solar panel... It might be that from the frame that came from China we mount that to unistrut and then that gets everything higher off the ground and more secure for winter winds etc.
  • re-check anemometer position

Nome CAS

  • see about ordering new batteries (this could be a see what the data looks like in March for the Teller CAS site if more batteries are necessary)

Wednesday

NGEE-Koug

  • change radiometer desiccant
  • check position of anemometer
  • leave a compass in the box

K2 met

  • Net radiometer stand bring out thimbles (guy wire is out there) for 7/16" size thimble (this is probably 1/4" or 5/16" wire rope)
  • level radiometers
  • replace radiometer desiccant

K3 Mauze

  • check level of radiometer
  • be prepared for some broken stuff (if this visit is broken into two days then could bring a number of things out to end of road and then only bring what is necessary on day two.
  • not sure why we could talk to radio but not site in 2018 remote visit.
    • Bring out an SC932A for between Logger and radio
K3 Shelved
  • new radiation tower for upwelling?
    • I'm thinking today that we could reuse the top pipe from the teller top site that is currently in storage to get the radiometers well above the canopy.

Kigluaiks (shelved?)

  • Bring out an SC932A for between logger and radio

Thursday

Skookum

  • change OS back to Array based
  • send program with more aggressive on/off to preserve winter battery
  • think about taking one of the batteries in storage out to the site

C1 Grid

  • bring out english allen wrench
  • bring out coax to replace radio to antenna connection
  • flip the snow depth pipe so old SR50 stub is up against tripod and mount radio antenna to it. Should be able to keep SR50A in about the same position
  • bring out tipping bucket replacement parts
    • no tips in 2018
    • could be loose cable or something worse. unclear.
