These instructions are applicable to almost any Campbell Scientific datalogger but the logger used in this example is a CR10X.

  1. Download the data from the logger using LoggerNet
  2. Start DevConfig (Start -> Programs -> Campbell Scientific -> LoggerNet -> Utilities -> DevConfig)
  3. On the left window pane click CR10X
  4. On the right window pane click Send OS
  5. Remove the green power plug on the data logger
  6. Click on the start button at the bottom of the right half of the DevConfig window pane.
  7. Navigate to the OS (C:\Campbellsci\Lib\OperatingSystems\CR10X_STD_23.OBJ)
  8. Plug the green power plug back into the data logger... the OS will now be sent to the logger.
  9. Once the OS has been sent the logger needs to do a memory check. This lasts 8 minutes. Do not do anything to the logger for these 8 minutes.
  10. Once the 8 minutes are up the program can be sent to the logger using DevConfig or LoggerNet.

You can also review the Campbell Scientific official instructions on the DevConfig Send OS window pane.
