  • pack daypack
  • charge drill
  • assemble food & drink

Important Times

  • Flight: Alaska 192 Departs: Fairbanks (FAI) on Mon, Oct 1 at 11:00 am
  • Sunrise: Oct 2 at 8:50 AM
  • Flight: Alaska 50 Departs: Barrow (BRW) on Tue, Oct 2 at 7:09 pm

Utq To Do

  • Have 2-3 additional HMP155 membrane tips
    • bringing a bit of electrical tape to seal these things up after sensor replacement
  • need to replace the network cable running from the computer to the network switch. It cuts out with minimal bumping...
    • I think I almost need to connect the computer to a screen to see where the hang up is if it indeed turned on so I'll bring my light keyboard/mouse and an HDMI to DVI cord.
  • Site A SR50A transducers have failed
  • Check level of tipping buckets
  • Check level of radiometers
    • replace radiometer desiccant
    • polish radiometer domes
  • some subsurface items are beginning to fail.
  • label the computer
  • bring up the nuc plate and wood screws and other screw packet to mount nuc to wall
  • troubleshoot the network connection in control shed.
  • take new pictures of inside control shed

To Bring

  • Tools
    • CSI Phillips for opening CNR4 radiometers and SR50A
    • Tap & Die in case any more radiometer screws strip
    • torpedo level for tipping bucket level
    • 5/16" screw driver for tipping bucket level
    • electrical tape for HMP155 replacement
    • Antenna & coax for C site to get antenna outside of the box. (two different antennas will decide on which up in Utqiagvik)
    • Drill & battery for potential tap & die stuff

On Site

  • Should be a ladder at the NGEE Flux tower for use replacing 3.5m instruments
