2008 August Nome Trip
In Fairbanks: Get new Hilti bit and extension Test CR10x and write an on/off program for it
In Nome:
add new radio # to the base station.
20) Verify setting on the radios (transmission characteristics) Check frequency keys for all radios (saw a discrepancy in the one I'm putting out vs. the ones that are out there)
K1 - thermistor string

Skookum - white duck tape Kigluaiks - original bring out a replacement HMP45C bring out a dry bag to carry bear spray in the helo up to the new site
Kigluiaks -second repeater purchase a bit more hardware

C1 - thermistor string reinstall precip bucket here (looks like it missed rain this summer) replace SR50A C2 - thermistor string, battery, change program so snow depth and distance are being saved (now it's distance x 2) Precip here is flatlined at 12 for some weird reason. So, needs fixing.
K1 SR50A transducer needs replacing Better secure the transducer at K1, too First 2 Soil moistures may still work here, got a couple legit looking readings earlier this summer. Rest are still garbage.

August 24 Jessie’s group arrives, gets organized. Needs 1 truck and a hotel room at the Aurora.
August 25 Jessie’s group uses the helicopter to service the high elevation repeater stations & install new repeater at Kigluaiks. Pickup canoe in Nome. Stay in a hotel room in Nome.
August 26 Jessie and Bob head to Council area with canoe, check Blueberry and CALM tower sites. Check Skookum pass on the way back. Picks up ATV in Nome. Drive to Quartz Creek camp.
August 27 Jessie and Bob visit K1 and K2 met sites (camp at Quartz Creek).
August 28 Jessie’s group waits for Fritz’s group to arrive, they head out to CALM grid and K3 met sites together, return to Nome, leave canoe, fly home.
