For Starters, the to do list:

Pre-trip to do

  • Photocopy Field books and archive in a file cabinet
  • Talk to Phil Taylor (addressed)
  • Figure out SDI-Recorder / SDI-Sensor operation (addressed)
  • Try to replicate the precip bucket problem on Blueberry (addressed)
  • Buy Silicone in tube form
  • Bring out white electrical tape for Skookum

Station by Station to do

C1 Grid

  • Pull Net Radiometer
  • Replace HMP45C sensor heads
  • Leave Radio in ON position, Flag 1 High
  • Download data

C2 Blueberry

  • Install new Anemometer (propeller is on site, anemometer is at Nome storage)
  • Figure out the deal with the precipitation (... fixed... send new program)
  • Replace HMP45C sensor heads @ 1m, 3m (10m replaced in August)
  • Replace new antenna with original antenna
  • Maybe swap out the radio (check out grounding?)
  • Leave Radio in ON position
  • Download Data
  • Replace Judd sensor & seal with Silicone
  • Drop off Net Radiometer mounting hardware (hardware is at Nome storage)

Skookum

  • Replace HMP45C sensor head
  • Look over Antenna & Coax for the reason it's so hard to get to Council via radio
  • Leave Radio in ON position

Anvil

  • Resolve Anemometer Issue
  • Replace HMP45C sensor head
  • Leave Radio in ON position, Flag 1 High

Kigluaiks 1

  • Leave Radio in ON position, Flag 1 High
  • Reprogram to drop WS/WD?
  • Download data if reprogram

Kigluaiks 2

  • Leave Radio in ON position
  • Replace Antenna
  • Get Anemometer working
  • Resend Program (maybe)
  • Download Data


K1 Burn

  • Replace HMP45C cable @ 3m
  • Bring out new HMP45C Sensor Head
  • Bring out Precip Bucket Funnel from Nome
  • Bring out Thermocouple wire to hook up Multiplexer
  • Bring out rebar to pound in for thermocouple pole to attach
  • Bring out hammer to pound rebar with
  • Download Data

K2 Met

  • Seal Judd with Silicone
  • Replace HMP45C sensor heads at 1m, 3m, and 10m


K3 Mauze

  • Leave Radio in ON position
  • Pull Net Radiometer
