Sep field work 2012

• Proposed dates: Arrival evening Sunday Sep 23, departure Friday evening Sep 30th.
• Busey could also arrive on the evening on Monday Sep 24.
• People: Bob Busey, Anna Liljedahl (Cathy may be around from Sep 28 or soon after)

Itinerary

DAY 1 ( 1 person)

• Water level wells @ all sites
  • lowering installed wells
  • clean each wire/sensor
  • manually measure the water level in installed wells
  • download data from water level loggers
  • thaw depths at installed wells

DAY 2 and 3 (2 people)

• Water level wells @ all sites
  • level surveying of water levels/wells (*** WE NEED TO FIND A LEVEL***)

DAY 4 (2 people)

• Temperature/soil moisture @ grid site (Site C)
  • download and maintain Campbell logger
  • download all 20 Hobo loggers
  • replace malfunctioning Hobo loggers
  • thaw depths at the 29 sites

DAY 5 and 6 (2 people)

• thaw depth survey along transects/grids at each site (site A through D)
  • CRAIG, SUSAN'S TEAM, NEED TO DGPS THAW DEPTH TRANSECTS
• change the view of the webcam at the Control Shed

DAY 7 (2 people)

• Installation of additional CSI snow depth, Hobo soil temp and Hobo snow temp sensors

Potential Extra Items

• Install power from Control Shed to site C (I am not sure the power is available to us??)
• Install wireless communication to grid site (requires power)
