- electric fence in good shape, working
- NOTE: top mast is not 1-1/4" pipe -- probably electrical tubing of similar O.D., but slightly smaller (typical other HW sites)

- installed electric fence with 4 posts
- checked logger (OK) using keypad
- poured water into rain gauge (OK); precip record at 1635 AKST (and
hourly total) should be ignored as data (in post-processing)
- wx: warm wind from SSE, about 15 to 20 knots. Dry, no rain.
- measured tripod/stand mast riser at 1-1/2" diameter (needed for
cross-arm mount)
