• install RM Young on cross-arm mount
  • mounted 2m above ground
  • s/n 69248
  • WS on P1, location 2
  • WD on SE2, E2, loc 7

• electric fence in good shape, working

• NOTE: top mast is not 1-1/4" pipe -- probably electrical tubing of similar O.D., but slightly smaller (typical other HW sites)

• installed electric fence with 4 posts

• checked logger (OK) using keypad

• poured water into rain gauge (OK); precip record at 1635 AKST (and

hourly total) should be ignored as data (in post-processing)

• wx: warm wind from SSE, about 15 to 20 knots. Dry, no rain.

• measured tripod/stand mast riser at 1-1/2" diameter (needed for

cross-arm mount)
