Sept 5, 2008, Emily & Ken
- tightened guy wires, radiation/SR50 pole was very crooked
- Old SR50 S/n C4798 and distance to ground was variable (125 cm - 149 cm) due to uneven ground
- Installed a new SR50 and moved it 1 foot to the north where the ground was more level
- New SR50 S/N C4789, calibrated by R. Gieck 9/5/08
- Reloaded new program onto datalogger (failure during transmission via radios)
- Added bark chips under SR50 and trimmed vegetation
- New SR50 distance from sensor to ground is 134.5 average and I put it into the program.

- no HMP sensor; cable cut cleanly, apparently at base of missing sensor
- owl pellets below solar panel; bird droppings on solar panel & battery box
