  • @ Site A
    • Replaced 1.4m AT/RH
      • removed: J0320039
      • replaced w/: K0810043
    • releveled net rad and replaced desiccant
    • data looks good post swap out
    • I think AT broken is corrosion related
  • @ Site B
    • Replaced 3.5m AT/RH
      • removed J0320033
      • replaced w/ K0810046
    • Net Radiatiometer screws oxidized in place. need more corrosion protection.

      • SW Upper 15.07
      • SW Lower 15.75
      • LW Upper 8.05
      • LW Lower 7.46
    • all replaced instruments look good
  • @ Site C
    • Couldn't open net radiometer box so left in Barrow
  • @ Site D
    • Replaced Desiccant
    • D Thermal Conductivity Heaters
      • 1 68.2 Ohms
      • 2 70.2 Ohms

  • @ Site A
    • A trough snow sensor too corroded for sensor swap
    • Level Net Rad (it was close)
    • level precip bucket (also looked close to level)
    • corrosion goo to net rad screws & connections
    • tools used:
      • 5/16" nut driver (precip)
      • torpedo level (precip)
      • 1/2" nut driver (snow)
      • flathead screwdriver w/ 1/4" nut driver (snow)
      • channel locks (snow)
      • phillips screwdriver (snow)
  • @ Site B
    • leveled Net Rad
    • Swap back original Net Rad
    • Corrosion Protection
    • Level Precip (way off)
    • change snow trans
  • @ Site C
    • Like A trough, C trough snow sensor to corroded to totally remove so swapping just transducer
    • Precip still level
    • Net Rad Leveled
      • 1 screw stripped
    • anti corrosion goo on WS & Net Rad
    • changed desiccant
  • @ Site D
    • Changed net rad desiccant and leveled
    • swapped snow sensor 2901
  • think I have the TC probes fixed. double check resistors are correct.

    • TC 6 30.96 kOhms
  • Logger says maybe:
    • 1 11.35 kOhms
    • 2 11.40 kOhms
    • 3 11.51 kOhms
    • 4 11.26 kOhms

  • A SR50A1 = 182.1
  • A SR50A2 = 126.75
  • C SR50A1 = left as programmed
  • C SR50A2 = 115.0
  • C SR50A3 = 117.3
  • D SR50A1 = 159.7

Just changed in the memory.

General Comments

I think A & C precip are probably the highest quality.

C net rad will need a swap out for the frozen corroded screw next time up.

Averaged 30 minutes per site.

Ended up not having access to a wheelbarrow

  • Set up over CP8 for survey of IR camera. Took points starting with one but skipped 8 by accident. Used hands & Belly for thermal marker.
  • added CFM100 to A but not SM Probe yet.
  • changed raspi for dreamplpug.
    • ser2net not cooperating not sure the deal. Iused the old usb to send so today changing it over.
  • need to trackdown tool-wise:
    • yellow snipper
    • crimping tool
    • small channel lock
