This is a to do list detailing work to be done on the Sept 2-13 field trip. Stream Team (Ken, Emily, Horacio/Bill, Rob) Sept 2-9 or so working out of Prudhoe first, then moving to Toolik. Met Team (Mike L., Jeff D., 3rd person) Sept 9-13 or so working out of Toolik.
Remember to make reservations at Toolik (& bring your own sleeping bag/sheets/blankets/pillow)
Note: Sites are grouped by area.

Day 0, Drive to Deadhorse
Day 1 & 2 Shaviovik, U1, Kadleroshilik River helicopter sites
1. West Kuparuk met:
- Troubleshoot station
- Install SR50
- Add bark chips, trim vegetation
- Measure distance from ground to snow sensor
- Take photos of site and snow sensor area
2. DFM4 NW Kuparuk Met DFM4 :
- Add Electric Fence
- Check soil moisture sensors to make sure they are plugged in, soil moisture #1 looks out of QC range.
- Add bark chips, trim vegetation
- Measure distance from ground to snow sensor
- Take photos of site and snow sensor area
- Replace SR50. Measure old distance to ground and then measure new dist. after installation.
- Check or Replace Anemometer. Bring spare cable and spare anemometer. Wind speed/direction are 0 since 7/17.
- Measure distance from ground to snow sensor
- Take photos of site and snow sensor area
- trim vegetation
- Add bark chips
- Measure distance from ground to snow sensor
- Take photos of site and snow sensor area

- check soil temp profile to make sure they are wired in
- Troubleshoot program
- Replace SR50. Measure old distance to ground and then measure new dist. after installation.

Day 3 (Bullen Area/Kavik Area) helicopter sites
- Check (or replace) net radiometer - readings went bad after we left the site

- Needs HMP45C
- Needs YSIx3
- Add conduit
12. DBM3 Juniper Met DBM3
- North fence needs another post,
- solar panel wires are exposed, needs "plates" or other protection
- install conduit
- Swap HMP45C
- Add bark chips, trim vegetation (if needed)
- Measure distance from ground to snow sensor
- Take photos of site and snow sensor area
13. DBM1 Accomplishment Cr Met
- Swap HMP45C
- install conduit if time permits
- install solar panel plate (larger size)
- Add bark chips, trim vegetation (if needed)

- Swap HMP45C
- install conduit

Upper Kuparuk
- Gage the site

Toolik snow sensor test site
- Toolik Geonor T200B precip gauge site prep
- select site location
- need 120VAC power
- install concrete base block
- dig hole for about 6CF concrete
- prepare template for 4 bolts, 225cm apart
- mix and place concrete
- set bolts in place; orient N-S and E-W, leave 6" above surface
- protect from elements etc. until set
- sensor to be installed later...
- select site location
- Install SR50 snow sensor
- SR50's, wood chips, etc.
- Mounting equipment
- datalogger
- hmp45c/anememometer?
