General

Station Tripod setup

  • survey tripod
  • 1 pcs 1/2 height unistrut bolted to survey tripod using:
    • 2 pcs 1/4" fender washer
    • 2pcs 1/4" unistrut nut deals
    • 2 pcs 1.5" x 1/4-20 bolts
  • 1" EMT horizontal pipe cut to 5.5'
  • secure horizontal pipe to unistrut using two u-bolts
    • 2 pcs 2" dia x 3" long x 5/6" u-bolt (stainless preferred)
  • 1 pcs 3/4" x 1" nu-rail cross hardware (slip over the horizontal pipe for the vertical pipe)
  • 2 pcs 3/"
